Jan / Feb Fees and other updates available

Post Date: January 26, 2022

The mad dash to complete the 31Jan tax reporting is almost behind us, and IRS is indicating that they are good with the hard work we have done to prepare those returns.  If you have filed with us, please let us know by COB tomorrow (27Jan) if you anticipate having any corrections for the data that you have already provided for us to file in your behalf, since we anticipate sending those to IRS on 28Jan.

It is now time to consider your timing for installing the updates that went into effect on 1Jan and 1Feb2022.

Since several of you may have delayed installing one or more of the recent updates, and this update is significantly more complex than usual because of that, we recommend that Alton brings your systems up-to-date to avoid having future problems.

Jan / Feb 2022 update Release Notes:

Both Compensate SI and Compensate SF database needs to be backed up prior to installing updates.

o All users need to be logged out from Compensate Si and SF prior to backup.

o Please schedule Alton to update your system for a time after the backup completes.  We anticipate it may take up to two hours to validate your “starting point” and update both Compensate SI and Compensate SF to current level.
