Compensate SI & SF May Fee Update

The new Compensate fee updates are available to be installed for Compensate SI & SF.

Both Compensate SI and Compensate SF database needs to be backed up prior to installing updates.  

o All users need to be logged out from Compensate Si and SF prior to backup.

o Please schedule Alton to update your system for a time after the backup completes.  We anticipate it may take up to two hours to validate your “starting point” and update both Compensate SI and Compensate SF to current level.

Release Notes:

Compensate SI

• Stars export changed per announcement on 3Mar2022.  Previously distributed spec with filename stars_spec_02212022.xls will be put into <Compensate SI>\export directory for your convenience.

• Outpatient and ASC fees effective 1May2022

• Enhanced SQL error messaging when SQL fails.

• New executable due to a few Hospital Outpatient Vocational fees for 2022 that don’t align to the 1Oct2021 schedule, and a CMS query response fix.

Compensate SF

• Private Employer fees effective 1Jul2022

• Outpatient and/or ASC fees effective 1May2022 for those databases that don’t reference the SI tables via a view.

• Change for databases that already reference the dbo.tb_med_in and dbo.tb_med_out tables in Compensate SI via a view to also use a view for the dbo.dateTableColumn table in Compensate SI as well.  

o For SF databases that have dbo_tb_med_in, dbo.tb_med_out, and dbo_dateTableColumn as tables, this change is not applicable.

• New executable due to a few Hospital Outpatient Vocational fees for 2022 that don’t align to the 1Oct2021 schedule, and a CMS query response fix.
